Volunteers For Youth matches adult volunteers with youth in Orange County. Volunteers
and young people agree to spend at least two hours a week together for one year. Click

Requirements:
Youth volunteers are the heart of the Orange County Teen Court Program. Teen Court has
several volunteer opportunities for middle and high school students (ages 12-17) who are
interested in the legal system. Volunteers serve in key roles as bailiff, clerk, defense attorney,

Attend a Teen Court training session
Be available on Monday evenings (usually the 1st and 3rd of every month)
Maintain regular contact with Teen Court Coordinator

VFY Annual Charity Golf
Tournament
This Volunteers for Youth annual fundraiser takes place at UNC's Finley Golf
Course in Chapel Hill. This is a great opportunity for golf enthusiasts throughout
Orange County to enjoy Finley Golf Course while lending support to an
organization helping local youngsters. Participants may sign up as a team of four.
The tournament has a shotgun format, with opportunities for prizes along the way.
All proceeds benefit Volunteers for Youth programming.
